Our Final Back to School Shopping & Closeout Sale — August 15 to September 29

After twelve wonderful and successful years, Companies to Classrooms will close its doors on September 30th. With increased rental and payroll expenses, we were unable to raise the money needed to keep the operation going. We thank you for all your support through this journey, and will miss serving our amazing educators.

The Problem Schools Face

  • More than 16 million kids live in poverty in the U.S. and arrive to school without the supplies they need to learn.
  • Teachers spend on average $1000 of their own money to help their students & supplement classroom materials.
  • Meanwhile, companies need an environmentally-friendly way to dispose of office surplus.

That’s when our idea was born

Our Impact

Thousands of Twin Cities Metro Area students receive supplies at no cost because their teachers “shop” for little or no cost at the Companies to Classrooms’ warehouse. Tons of reusable materials are kept out of landfills by our community and company sponsored organization. Since March of 2006, we have repurposed over $3million worth of surplus into supplies for local schools. It’s a win-win for schools, businesses, and the environment.
